ProofVault Privacy Policy

ProofVault helps users save receipts and important documents in a private searchable vault.
Information we collect
We may collect:
- Email address for account login
- Documents uploaded by the user, including images and PDFs
- Document details entered by the user, such as title, type, notes and important dates
- Scanned text extracted from uploaded images
- Basic technical information needed to operate and secure the app
How we use information
We use this information to:
- Create and manage user accounts
- Save documents in the user's private vault
- Make documents searchable
- Send reminder notifications for important dates
- Provide, improve and secure the app
Document storage
Uploaded documents are stored securely using Supabase. Documents are private to the signed-in user and are protected by access controls.
Text scanning
When a user uploads an image, ProofVault may process the image to extract text. This helps users search for receipt text, amounts, dates and other document details.
Data sharing
We do not sell user data.
We may use trusted service providers to operate the app, including:
- Authentication and database/storage providers
- Text scanning/OCR providers
- App store/payment providers once subscriptions are enabled
Data deletion
Users can delete documents inside the app. Deleted documents may first appear in Recently Deleted, where they can be restored or permanently deleted.
Users can permanently delete their ProofVault account and associated documents directly inside the app using the Delete Account option. For assistance, contact: support@keepproofvault.com
Security
We use reasonable technical measures to protect user data. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children
ProofVault is not intended for children under 13.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new “Last updated” date.
